Congratulations Hawai'i!!! They are the first state to cover palliative care services for Medicaid beneficiaries through a State Plan Amendment. This benefit will transform the type of care patients living with serious illness can receive. It's a huge accomplishment that sets the stage for other states, like #newjersey, to chart a similar course!
